Angelique’s first SCORE magazine cover edition was the December 1994 issue. The editor at the time wrote, “Angelique: It’s time for the one-handed lambada, and our newest discovery from Rio de Janeiro is here to help you get it right!”
Angelique became a superstar the first day that magazine hit store racks. Her second cover issue was July 1995.
One of SCORE’s most-popular girls of the Big ’90s, Angelique’s earthy nature and sexual personality gave her a special erotic magnetism. She didn’t turn it on and off like a switch. Angelique was like that all the time and most likely she still is.
Some felt Angelique retired from modeling too early, considering some of her superstar contemporaries who remain active in different ways to this day, such as Minka, Kayla Kleevage, Linsey Dawn McKenzie, Casey James, Europe DiChan and Brittany Andrews.
